3 NONPROFIT SUCCESS STORIES

Digital Transformation: Imperative for Success – A large international study has revealed key information to support small and large Nonprofits & Charities in moving to digital maturity – new term for many of us. During the pandemic, a clear correlation between NFPs high digital maturity and those with the most success has emerged. Boards need to be open to working with leaders in digital transformation to succeed, and serve clients in ways we could not in the past.

The survey revealed many nonprofits experienced an influx of support, with close to 60% reporting their agencies saw an increase in volunteer desire to participate in their NFP’s work. Noteably, though 1/3 of organizations saw grants decrease, summer 2020 brought an increase in donations. Learn more at the survey site.

Casey House Boldly Changes the HIV/AIDS Narrative – Advocating to End Stigma – Casey House Canada has earned top honors in the “Campaigns & Communication: Advocacy or Awareness Campaign” category of PR Daily’s 2021 Nonprofit Communications Awards. The advocacy was aimed at increasing empathy for people living with HIV/AIDS. Casey House is Canada’s only standalone hospital for people with HIV/AIDS.

Casey House works to continue its multi-year advocacy campaign aimed at ending the stigma of living with HIV/AIDS. This time, its strategy? “Reimagine some iconic shows like “Friends” and “The Office” with an HIV/AIDS storyline.” Amidst much controversy, they had dialogue replaced in actual shows. It wasn’t easy. It worked. Read more.
